The world-renowned ‘Pride Parade’ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, showcased a unique energy and a strong political voice this year. Thousands of LGBTQ community members and supporters gathered on Copacabana Beach boardwalk on Sunday for the 30th Pride Parade in the country. The parade was not just a symbol of rights and equality demand but also a celebration of the precautionary imprisonment of Brazil’s former president Jair Bolsonaro just a day prior. People at the parade site were dancing, singing, and chanting slogans in colorful attire, creating an atmosphere filled with both political and festive emotions.
