Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is scheduled to visit India from February 18 onwards at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. This visit comes after the imposition of reciprocal tariffs by the US, which prompted Lula to strengthen economic ties with countries like India. During his visit, Lula will participate in the AI Impact Summit on February 19 and 20, followed by a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi on February 21, as announced by the external affairs ministry. Additionally, Lula is expected to meet President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
