Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday to strengthen the India-Brazil Strategic Partnership. Welcomed by Minister of State for External Affairs Kirtivardhan Singh, his visit aims to boost the already close relationship between the two countries. The Brazil-India partnership is rooted in a shared vision, democratic values, and inclusive growth commitment. Lula’s presence is expected to enhance this partnership significantly. The visit, set for February 18–22, will include participation in the India-AI Impact Summit and discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talks are anticipated to cover various sectors like defence, trade, energy, agriculture, and health.
