Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is set to embark on a state visit to India from February 18 to 22, with a primary focus on attending the second AI Summit scheduled in New Delhi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that President Lula will participate in the summit taking place on February 19 and 20. This visit comes following an invitation extended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the strengthening of ties between the two countries. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted the significance of the visit, noting that bilateral engagements are scheduled for February 21, marking the main day of the state visit. On this day, President Lula will be welcomed by India’s President, along with meetings with the Vice President and other distinguished figures.
